Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, the Mexican American sportscaster. She works for ESPN and works as the SportsCenter anchor for news. She joined ESPN as a news anchor in 2016. Her mother is the TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bilingual since the age of nine years old. It was a helpful talent that enabled her to get her first job as a production assistant at Univision in Miami that gave her the chance to be a part of the production team for National programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. After this she was hired by the CBS station located in St. Petersburg employed her as a sport reporter. In 2009 she moved from Rio Grande Valley, Texas to work as an investigative reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision. Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In 2009, she moved to Rio Grande Valley in Texas and became a reporter for KNVO 48 Univision and Fox2 News. Also, she would fill in occasionally as a weather and sports anchor. They moved at some point in Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born in November 1985. She's older than her sister. There is an older sibling. They divorced shortly thereafter and her mother got married to one of the naval architects called Fabio Fajardo who passed away from kidney cancer in 2006. In the course of a family holiday in Ohio, the younger Collins had taken a position alongside her elder sister. Antonietta was the senior of her high school however, she had a very clear vision of her career goals. She went to Mount Union University to see if it was a good fit for her. She discovered that she enjoyed the university, and the university offered the major she wanted. After high school, she graduated and began studying media at the college. Mark Bergmann - her professor - was also the manager at WRMU (91.1 FM), where she belonged. He encouraged her to believe in herself and his passion for journalism deeply affected her. She, determined to fulfill the expectations of him and not failed him.
